Chalet du Tornet
on the lake of La Balme-de-Sillingy
Generous traditional cuisine · Lakeside terrace · Haute-Savoie
A really lovely, delicious moment with friends in a very pleasant setting! The team is welcoming and the food generous.
New owner. Very friendly welcome. A great menu. We tried the Vegan Board, very generous and delicious. The burgers are great too!
For a reopening with a new manager, bravo. Small but cosy dining room, smiling and attentive servers. I recommend the Raclette: a delight.
Welcome to the Chalet
On the shores of the lake of La Balme-de-Sillingy, the Chalet du Tornet welcomes you from February to early November. Restaurant lunch and dinner*(Thursday to Saturday), bar from morning until the last drink, terrace facing the water — a simple, lively place at the heart of a fully equipped estate.
We do things simply — local produce, charcuterie from Maison Baud, artisanal ice cream, and the pleasure of a beautiful plate shared by the lake.

Discover the Chalet
The Tornet Estate
Seven hectares of lake, freely open, all year round. The Domaine du Tornet is the living heart of La Balme-de-Sillingy: a lake, a walking loop, a large playground, a pumptrack, a fitness area, pétanque courts, a lakeside pontoon, and the Gardens Park of Haute-Savoie with its national collection of Asian flowering cherry trees.
The Chalet is our corner of the Estate. We come here for a coffee before walking around the lake, an aperitif after the pumptrack, a meal on the terrace between two slides at the playground. Our kitchen ends at our walls; the rest of the Estate continues all around.
